Beschreibung
RIVA SUPER FLORIDA 1963 – No. 704
An exceptional collector’s piece.
Offered for sale, this magnificent 1963 Riva Super Florida represents one of the finest expressions of Carlo Riva’s craftsmanship, from the period preceding the arrival of the legendary Aquarama.
Remarkably well preserved, this boat has remained in the same ownership since 1997. Throughout all these years, she has benefited from rigorous maintenance carried out exclusively by renowned Riva specialists, allowing her to be presented today in outstanding condition, close to concours standard.
The entire boat has remained faithful to her original configuration. The chrome fittings, hardware, instruments, interior appointments and finishes have all been preserved with the utmost respect for authenticity. The varnish work has been carried out according to traditional craftsmanship standards and reflects the exceptional level of care devoted to her preservation.
In 2005, the engine was replaced with a GM unit, perfectly in keeping with the spirit and configuration of the period. Indeed, depending on the version, Super Florida models were historically fitted with Chrysler or General Motors power units. Renowned for its robustness, reliability and ease of maintenance, this GM engine represents a particularly appreciated upgrade among knowledgeable enthusiasts today.
Rarely used other than for carefully enjoyed pleasure outings, this Super Florida has always been in the hands of passionate owners who have placed preservation above intensive use.
Today, this Riva is far more than simply a prestigious motorboat; she represents a genuine piece of nautical heritage, intended for the discerning enthusiast seeking an authentic, meticulously maintained example that is ready to be enjoyed on the water.
