That dictates three private cabins, three heads, adequate tankage and a comfortable saloon. The interior of the 473 has a pleasant tradition feel. The wooden furniture is nicely offset by the white overhead and cabin-trunk liners. Like a lot of boats coming out of Europe in those years, the 473 has it's galley running forward and aft in the saloon to port, with the convertible dinette to starboard. Sleeping accommodations are large and comfortable with two double cabins with toilet aft and a large double cabin with ensuite toilet with separated shower forward. The standing rigging are the originals as well as the sails and the teak deck, but all of them seem to be still in pretty good conditions for such a years boat. The engine is a 100 Hp Yanmar with only 1500 hours. This Ocenis 473 is a good, solid sailing boat that has the accommodations that make it an attractive choice for living aboard and wandering the world.
