1983 Sadler 26. ‘Selkie’ is an outstanding example of this popular bilge keel yacht. She has undergone a major refit and is ready to sail away.

The recent history of the boat is I first bought her in 2010 and spent quite a lot of money and time refitting her standing and running rigging as well as some upgrades to electronics etc. I then sold her in 2012 (due to upgrading to a bigger boat). I then bought her back in April 23 for £20,000. She has had over £20K spent on the new engine and refit.

From 2012 -2018 she under a full refit of all her electrical systems and electronics and due to her low use during these years she now boasts very low engine hours. In her previous survey, the surveyor describes her as one of the best he's seen valuing her around £25,000.

She can berth up to 6 across 2 cabins and 2 double berths, making her ideal for cruising with family and friends. She is also perfect for single handed sailing with all her lines led aft, a remote control Lewmar windlass and self-tailing winches. She also comes with a full sail inventory, including a nearly new cruising shoot with a snuffer.
