The Beneteau Antares 8 is a multi-programme motor cruiser for day outings, fishing trips, and weekend cruising with the family. Living onboard is sheer pleasure as she has a large saloon in the wheelhouse with a panoramic view. Extremely well-designed, she has clever modular fittings to make life on board much simpler. She is fitted with the economical Suzuki 200HP outboard which has completed only 70 hours, bowthruster, aft cockpit enclosure, electric anchor windlass, fridge and small hob. A berth in Chatham Marina also available.

Accommodation :
The Beneteau Antares 8 wheelhouse with translucent glass windscreen, opening side windows and a leaf aft window door make the wheelhouse very light and airy. The front screen has 2 Electric windscreen wipers. This motorboat also has full Interior curtains (windscreen, side windows and aft window door).
The helmsman's station is to starboard, it has a Pilot console with space for electronic instruments such as chart plotter, steering compass, Rev counter Fuel and engine gauge indicator. This is also a 12 V socket, steering wheel encased side engine control. The Helmsman seat is padded and mounted on an adjustable slide rail.
The is a large storage cupboard under Helmsman's seat as well as a footrest. There is a two seater co-pilot bench to port, facing forward, The vessel is fitted with beige upholstery
The Galley located to starboard aft of the Helmsman's seat has a laminated kitchen worktop, stainless steel sink with a pressurised hot and cold water mixer tap. History & Construction:

Designed by Sarrazin Design, in collaboration with Beneteau Powerboats, the Antares 8 has a semi-displacement hull with a classic timeless profile. The deck plan offers a large cockpit saloon for 4 people. This can be converted into a sun-lounger as well as a semi-open forward pulpit. Focussing on the pleasure of living on board, the Antares has a slatted natural aft swim platform. This Antares 8 has been owned by the current owner since January 2022. A copy of the survey report is available upon request. The vessel was last out of the water and antifouled in December 2022 when the anodes where also changed. The owner is selling as he wishes to have a go at sailing having owned a couple of motorboats.

It has completed only 70 hours as at 16th November 2023. It has a three blade stainless steel propeller and has a 280 L Fuel Tank. This Antares 8 is also fitted with a through tunnel Bowthruster making handling of this single engine motorboat much easier.

Electrical Systems:

It has a 6 function 12 V electrical panel ,12 V socket, 1 x 12 V 110 Ah battery for engine starting (3 years old), 1 x Service battery 12 V 110 Ah Battery (3 years old) 1 x 12v Battery Bow thruster (3 years Old) All charged by engine alternator. and 240v shore power battery charger. There is a 240v Shorepower ring main with immersion heater.
